Your First Visit / FAQ

How do I prepare for my first visit?

We ask that you log onto the patient portal at least 48 hours prior to your visit. There, you will have the opportunity to complete forms and update your medical history. If you are uncomfortable completing this online, you will have the opportunity to complete it in the office. Kindly arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment if you completed the forms online. If you intend to complete the forms at our office, you should arrive 30 minutes earlier than your appointment.

Bring your insurance card and a valid photo identification card.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can either call our office OR complete the scheduling form on our website. If you choose either of the latter two options, we will get in contact with you in 1 business day.

How do I cancel or reschedule my upcoming appointment?

You can cancel or reschedule an upcoming appointment by calling our office. We recommend you do this at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If however, you cancel or reschedule an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment, there will be a $35 fee.

Do you have same-day and next-day appointments?

Yes. We offer same-day and next-day appointments mainly for urgent conditions. You will need to call our office directly to schedule one.

Do you offer second opinions?

At Texas Colon and Pilonidal Clinic, we believe you should be well-versed of your diagnosis and have all the information needed to make an informed choice in your care. We offer second opinions and are also open to our patients who may want to seek such.
