Growing up in a country where malnutrition and obesity exists side by side, with an increasing incidence of chronic diseases, birthed a passion in me to make a change through nutrition.

Equipped with a Bachelors degree in biochemistry, I moved to the United States and furthered my education in Public Health with a focus on Nutrition and Dietetics from the prestigious University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I completed my Dietetic Internship and earned a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license.

While practicing as a dietitian, I developed a passion for nutritional management of diabetes and its complications. To better prevent and manage diabetes, I obtained further education and experience as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist  from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.

My approach is individualized to each client, taking their culture, foods, budget, and nutritional goals into consideration.
